Lunch Bags and Lunch Boxes

Shop lunch bags and lunch boxes at N-TASH UK, including the Astronaut kids lunchbox and character lunch bags for Minecraft, Toy Story and Pokémon. Packed lunches are easier when children love their lunch kit.

Lunch bags and boxes for school

A lunch bag keeps sandwiches, fruit and snacks together in a school bag. Children enjoy carrying their favourite characters, and a recognisable design helps them find their bag in the cloakroom. Check the product page for size, insulation and compartments.

Choosing the right size

Consider how much food your child takes to school. Smaller bags suit nursery and infants, while larger ones suit older children with bigger appetites. Check that the lunch bag fits in the backpack, and look for easy-to-clean linings and secure fastenings.

Packing tips

Use an ice pack to keep food cool, wrap sandwiches in foil or reusable wraps and include a water bottle. Pack healthy snacks, such as fruit and yoghurt, and add a note for a personal touch.

Cleaning

Wipe bags with a damp cloth and let them dry. Wash according to the care label, and empty daily to avoid smells.

Gift ideas

Lunch bags make great back to school presents and birthday gifts. Pair with a water bottle and stationery set.

Look for bags with a wipe-clean lining and a wide opening so children can reach their food easily. Practise opening containers at home, because small lids and zips can be tricky for younger pupils, and a confident child is more likely to eat well.

Check whether your school has rules on nuts or fizzy drinks, and pack accordingly. A reusable lunch bag also cuts down on single-use bags and foil, which is better for the environment as well as your weekly shopping budget.
